Photo Interpretations
While sitting in the lobby of the Orient Hostel in Istanbul I came across Sebastien Assoignons, a `nomad observer`from Brussels. As we got to talking we connected on an artistic level resulting on him releasing his photos to me with Carte Blanche. I embarked on a creative, political quest to bring the meaning of his emotion rendering shots to another level. It is with his express permission that I post these transformed, interpretive works. The Photographs in the following are some of the original prints that I worked from in an 56 x`s 30 cm format on Kodak gloss finished prints. The first photo is a self-portrait of Sebastien.
